Hi everyone, I live with my husband and two children on beautiful Kangaroo Island in South Australia. We own and manage a sheep property that was devastated during the Black Summer fires. I have since become passionate about Community Connection, Disaster Recovery and Disaster Preparedness. I founded the Humans of Kangaroo Island project (www.humansofkangarooisland.com), and created the Bushfire Recovery documentary film Jan 3rd (ask me about it). I am a co-designer of the DisasterWISE Communities Network, work in comms & media and mentor individuals and communities through the Red Cross affiliated mentoring program DRAMA (http://www.redcross.org.au/drama/).
