Following the 19/20 fires it became apparent there’s a need for an independent culturally safe space on country for local mobs to gather when evacuating. I’ll also post this in the community ‘community-led approaches’.

I would ask Troy McDonald. He was running the Indigenous Recovery pillar at ERV when I came into contact with him but I am not sure if he is still there. He is the Reserved Seat representative for the Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Corporation at the First Peoples Assembly and his email is troym@firstpeoplesvic.org , he is a good guy with deep knowledge of the area and will know someone
